WRITING ROMANCE FICTION SERIES:

A 7 PART BEGINNER'S CLASS

This class has 7 sessions that will take place over 7 weeks, with one class per week. Classes will be held on Wednesday evening at 6 PM Central Standard Time, with each class being approximately 60 - 90 minutes long, so plan accordingly.

This class series is meant for the beginning writer, with little to no experience in writing romantic fiction. We will be going over the basics of how to write a romance novel and delving into ways to avoid rookie mistakes commonly made by new writers. If you've written several romance novels, this may not be the class series for you.

2) Plotting a Story with Fast Pacing and Active Voice

3) Choosing a Setting / Time Period

4) Do's and Don't's of Dialogue

5) Writing Characters That Live and Breathe with Emotions

6) Intimacy and Using the 5 Senses

7) The Happy Ending

Classes are limited to 8 people for each class series. Writers will be sent materials for every class, which includes tips on each class subject, writing prompts, and brainstorming fresh ideas, so please be sure to give us your email address so we may send the materials and Zoom meeting links for each class.

Materials Needed to partake in the class series: notebook and pen for taking notes, computer or smartphone for Zoom meeting link, email address, and a desire to learn how to write a romantic fiction novel.
