Product Details

Book 1 in the Kara Michelson Duology

High school? Not Kara Michelson’s jam. She can’t wait for the dreaded days of blank stares and drama queens to be over. As if being a teenager wasn’t hard enough, she has the ability to see ghosts. Living beside dead people and hiding it is as isolating as it is terrifying, but she never expected it to get harder.

On the first day of her senior year, she catches a ghost staring at Jack Ridan, the most popular boy. To her horror, she finds him gaping back, and they are forced into an unlikely alliance. Can she move past her distrust toward him so they can help each other survive the paranormal world?

About the Author

Nora Cardinal grew up in the small town of Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin. She published her first book, Aunt Sally's Secret, when she was fourteen. Her first young adult duology, Living in Silence and Will to Survive, takes on paranormal activity in high school.

Nora's passion lies in ensuring everyone knows they matter, and she does so by making a statement through dancing, acting, and writing. She will always be a kid at heart, which makes working with children as a dance coach and yoga instructor an exhilarating adventure. She lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, while finishing her college career.
